I regret that Chris having not been well most of the time this week (KC Not Withstanding!!) was admitted to the Royal Gwent at 17.00hrs. 10-Oct-08 by ambulance, with an additional infection & complications.
Having been admitted by ambulance via A&E at 17.00hrs. you will be pleased to know that despite the known KC, advanced mets., parallysis due to spinal mets., catheter & continence issues and the barbaric witholding of drugs due to Government EUthenasia policy, they were unable to find Chris a bed until 01.00hrs. this morning!
6 HOURS on a trolley on top of all the rest shows just how how woefully inadequate areas of our Health Service now are with the devolved irresponsibility of EU Regional Assemblies!
A very small amount of money and competent rather than more management would solve this - they can run up £1.3Trillion in debt and find £100bn. for Northern Rock and an initial £500bn. to bail out the professional and utterly irresponsible banks - then they claim KC patients are not COST EFFECTIVE.
It is with regret that this event has been cancelled - due to Chris' inability to travel and it is to be hoped he will be able to get home to his family again - soon!

This is your opportunity to make a stand for the right of all human beings to be given the right to life regardless of cost.
My aim on the 14th is to continue a high profile campaign on behalf of cancer sufferers to have the right to life enhancing / saving approved drugs, Sutent being one of them and to end this ridiculous post code lottery.
I will be presenting a letter of protest and questions to the government on behalf of all my fellow sufferers and their families. Although the government is well aware of our situation I am hopeful that as human beings they will respect us as equal and remove what I can only describe as a premature death sentence from our heads once and for all.
I do hope you can join me at The House of Commons where I am meeting David T.C. Davies MP who is my MP in Monmouthshire and if you can persuade YOUR MP to join with him and be there too it will greatly help our cause and do tell your local News Papers and any Nationals you have contact with.
I am working with my MP who has been a greats support and I know he has been of help to Greg L-W. in specific and to our cause in general already see: DAVIES, David (KC) 26-Aug-08.
